safe transfer
The UDAF Trolley has been designed and manufactured for the temporary storage and transportation of products that are susceptible to contamination from the surrounding environment, taking into account the need to contain the greatest number of trays in the smallest possible footprint.
Thanks to the horizontal laminar flow, guaranteed by a UPS-powered dry-battery fan and a HEPA H14 filter barrier, this system is able to maintain Class A (ISO Class 5) conditions within the internal cabin volume while the load is being moved.

easily cleaned
The casing is manufactured entirely in stainless steel sheet.

Ease of maintenance
Inspection doors providing access to components for maintenance.

safety
Holes 25 mm in diameter that allow air to escape without creating vortices.
Centering system
The casing is manufactured in AISI 304 stainless steel sheet with a Scotch Brite satin finish, and serves as the supporting structure of the machine. The various parts are fastened together using stainless steel nuts, screws and bolts. The casing houses the following units:
- The ventilation system
- The power system, complete with rechargeable accumulator batteries.
- The electrical panel, control system and HMI panel.
For easy and ergonomic handling, the trolley is equipped with 4 x 80 mm, polyamide swivel wheels. 2 of these 4 wheels are equipped with brakes for parking the trolley. To access the various internal parts of the machine, it is equipped with removable inspection panels. All components feature rounded edges, making easier to clean.
Laminar flow operating cabin
The operating cabin represents the machine’s operational volume, i.e., the space where the horizontal laminar flow guarantees the load is protected while being transferred.
The cabin is manufactured entirely in 12 mm thick polycarbonate. with chamfered stainless steel edges to facilitate cleaning and has internal dimensions of 450x580xh910 mm. The cabin houses a series of removable, height-adjustable shelves made from AISI 316L stainless steel tubes, which are mounted on special supports, also in AISI 316L stainless steel.
The access door, located on the front of the cabin, is made of 12-mm-thick polycarbonate and has 25 mm diameter holes that channel air to the outside.
Ventilation system
The ventilation system consists of the following main components:
- Centrifugal fan
- G4 pre-filter
- H14 filter for laminar flow
- Pressure transmitter
- Filter clogging pressure switch
- DOP test sockets
Power supply
and control system
The UDAF trolley remains powered even when not connected to the electrical power supply, thanks to the rechargeable accumulator battery system.
All the devices, equipment and components, are controlled by a PLC system, which permits the operator to control the machine via the operator interface (HMI).
Main components:
- Machine-integrated electrical panel
- Rechargeable accumulator batteries
- PLC control
- 4" color, touch screen HMI operator panel
Description of main functions:
- Battery charge level indicator
- Internal cabin pressure display
- Alarm indicators (H14 filter clogging, fan fault, etc.).
The batteries have an autonomy of about 2 hours under optimal operating conditions Charging times can vary from 3 to 4 hours, with a 230 V, simple phase power supply.
